In 2020 like many people around the world we found ourselves coming to terms with life in a socially distanced society. As Melbourne began stage 4 restrictions and we could only leave our home for essential services we grew restless as our days were spent indoors behind a computer screen. This new lifestyle was causing sleepless nights and elevated stress. Looking for a cure we turned our attention to tea! 

After several days of exploring the health benefits of tea and herbal tisanes we began our new hobby ordering small quantities of organic ingredients to get creative with. Welcome Simply Sleep! Our first blend was a home-made organic herbal solution to our own insomnia. From there we experimented with green and black tea to replace our coffee kicks. Some teas are just as stimulating as coffee without the crash. After that we looked into keeping our immune systems strong and read about the advantages of ginger root, rose hip and olive leaf. It wasn’t long before friends and family were requesting their own supplies. 

The Opteamistic idea was born.

We now provide organic tea and herbal blends Australia wide. We use eco-friendly, re-usable, recycled or biodegradable packaging to ensure we deliver you a guilt free cup of tea.
